Hello Foxfielders,I was down your site yesterday, and was really pleased to see how well things are going. The beds are full of veggies and I like the idea of planting up the areas around the site…Continue

As you probably know, ECBA has lost funding and has requested for us to take responsibility to keep this Foxfield Ning site going. So, if you're not a member yet, but have enjoyed reading the blog posts and would like to keep it going, please contact Tom Gardner via his inbox, and he will give you some more information on how to contribute.
Thanks,
Jill Richardson

Hi Folks. A big thank you to all of you who came out into Foxfield and made Friday’s meeting a success. Following a brief discussion of ECBA and its various aspects, a quick talk about Foxfield, a brief discussion of the AGM - with a few welcome interjections from Greg Robertson regarding the future website set up, the tool depot on Dalmeny Street and some background on the forest garden amongst other things, we were able to get down to business and do some real forward planning for our…

Thanks again to everyone from our backgreen who helped out on Sunday afternoon to take down most of our monster laurel hedge. It was only 4 years ago it was trimmed to about 4 ft, but since then it had grown to a 12-15 ft high, 6ft deep monster. We then formed a chain-gang to stack all the debris back along the fence, with the wood on top where it can be…

Hello Foxfield Folk,
I just wanted to give you an update on the changes that will be taking place at ECBA.
Changes at ECBA
This week will be my last week as Community Officer, and Greig has already switched over to a voluntary role at the organisation, so there will no longer be an ECBA staff team, at least in the short to medium term future. This change is partly due to the fact that we did not receive a Climate…

At ECBA we're gearing up for the Spring and Summer ahead, and have been confirming our courses programme for the next few months. Tom suggested that we rotate our workshops around more sites this year, so that different backgreens get the benefits of a raised profile etc from…
